Rostering software for events and venues that staff spikes, not shifts

Demand doesn't arrive evenly — it spikes per event. Publish each event as a period, let your casual pool bid for the named work on offer, allocate with a standby pool that absorbs no-shows at the gate, and run event night from a supervisor's phone.

Publish each event as a period

A stadium gate, a festival weekend, a function room turning over three times in a night — each is a period with its own named positions and fixed capacities: gate one, bar three, the VIP zone. Open the positions that event needs, and your casual pool sees exactly what's on offer for that date, nothing more.

Bid-based fill beats the phone tree

Chasing a casual pool through a group chat or a call list doesn't scale past a handful of events a month. Every worker gets one signed link per period — they bid for the positions they want at the events they can actually work, and reminders chase the non-responders automatically, so you're not the one making the calls.

Standby cover at the gate, supervisor mode on the night

Event-day no-shows are inevitable — someone's sick, someone's stuck in traffic. A ranked standby pool sits behind every position, and a vacated seat blasts a first-claim-wins link the moment it opens, so gate cover doesn't wait on a phone call. On the day, your on-site supervisor runs a live view — attendance, hours, moves — without needing config access or the rest of the admin console.

Questions from events & venues

We only staff a handful of events a month — is this overkill?

No. Each event is its own period, published and torn down independently, so there's no ongoing roster to maintain between events.

Can casual staff work events across multiple venues we run?

Each event lives under your organisation with its own hierarchy and positions, and a contact's bidding history and reliability score travel with them across your periods.

How do we cover a no-show right at gate time?

A vacated position opens a claim offer and blasts a one-time link to your ranked standby pool. First valid claim wins the seat automatically — no re-dialling down a list.

Who can run the event on the day if our office team isn't on site?

A supervisor role gets a live-only view — attendance, hours and moves — scoped to the event, with no access to configuration or other admin functions.

Do we get hours data for payroll after the event?

Yes. Expected and actual hours are captured against each position and roll up in reporting for payroll and reliability scoring.
