Rostering software for attractions that staff by the night
Your season runs on named work, not shifts — a specific room, scene or set, each needing exactly the right number of people. Publish the nights, let your cast bid for the sets they want, allocate with a standby pool, and run the night live from a phone.
Publish the season's nights, set by set
Your work isn't a headcount, it's a named location — Disturbia's Entrance, the Asylum's Ward Three, a specific scare set that needs one to three people who know it cold. Chronomancer's three-layer hierarchy (site, attraction, set) mirrors how your attraction is actually laid out, with a fixed capacity per set and a priority rank for which ones open first on a quieter night.
Performers bid for the sets they love
A young, casual, phone-first cast doesn't want an app or a password. Every performer gets one signed link per period — they open it, see the nights and sets on offer, and bid for exactly what they want to play, within the min and max sets you allow per night. No group chat, no phone tree, no guessing who's actually available for Friday.
Allocate with a standby pool, run the night live
One board shows every bid against every set, sorted by priority tier and reliability. Place your cast, hold a ranked reserve, and send confirmations in one pass. On the night, attendance and hours are logged from a tablet at the door — and if someone drops, the vacated set blasts a first-claim-wins link to standby so the seat refills itself, not you.
Questions from attractions & entertainment venues
Our cast bid for named sets, not generic shifts — does this fit?
Yes. Chronomancer's core model is named work: a specific set or room with its own fixed capacity, not a generic headcount. Performers bid for the exact sets they want to play each night.
Can we open different sets depending on how big the night is?
Yes. Each set carries a priority rank, so a quieter weeknight opens only your top-priority sets while a peak Saturday opens everything.
Do performers need to install an app?
No. Every performer gets a unique signed link by SMS or email for the period — they bid, view their roster and self-withdraw from that link. No app, no password.
What happens when someone no-shows or drops out mid-season?
A vacated set opens a claim offer and blasts a one-time link to your ranked standby pool. First valid claim wins the seat automatically, and everyone involved is re-notified.
Can we require a skill before someone can bid for a set?
Yes. Sets can require a specific skill or function, so only performers who hold it see and can bid for that set — unskilled allocation is blocked.
